We’ve had another busy week in school. It was World Ocean Day on Monday and children in all classes enjoyed extra Geography themed activities focusing on the oceans of the world and what we can do to protect them. We also had a visit from Sharon McGrath from Move Well Live Well; she gave an amazing talk about her epic row across the Atlantic ocean. On Wednesday, Merlins’ class performed their class play to a huge audience. We were all so impressed with their wonderful acting, amazing costumes and super singing. Thank you to all family members who came to watch and helped to raise £150 for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. And special thanks to Mr Helliker, Ms Yates and Mrs Matthews for all their hard work. Next week Kestrels will be going on their trip to Shrewsbury – we are hoping for good weather!
We did not have a celebration assembly today so are looking forward to a rollover next week.
We hope you have a lovely weekend.
Mrs L. Edgerton
