We have had a small number of cases of diarrhoea and vomiting in school today. Please be vigilant, encourage handwashing and be mindful of our 48 hour rule in order to minimise spread. Thank you for your support.

Tomorrow (Friday 17th October) we will be offering pumpkin soup as a meal option alongside our regular choices of fish and chips or jacket potato.

Our ‘little friends’ are back! Please could you check your child’s hair as we have had a few cases in school.  If your child has long hair it may be advisable to tie it back when at school.

The advice form the school nurse is to use conditioner and a special metal comb. Every 3rd day cover the head in conditioner and comb the hair paying particular attention to the crown, behind the ears and the nape of the neck. Rinse with fresh water. This should be repeated every 3rd day for 2 weeks then once a week.
