Spanish Day menu change

As tomorrow is Spanish Day, we have changed the menu to:

  • Cazuela de pollo y chorizo con aceitunas y pimientos, con arroz (chicken and chorizo stew with olives and peppers, with rice) served with nachos, guacamole and soured cream.
  • Tarta de queso con fresas (cheesecake with strawberries).

Hockey Club

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen events, we will not be able to run hockey club for the remainder of this term. Night Owls is available for those who need it. Please let Lucy know via email if you wish to pick up your child at 3.15 instead.

Hockey club will resume in September.

Sports Day

Next Wednesday 1st July is our annual sports day.

The event will begin at 9.10am and will last for approximately 2 hours . Pupils will take part in a variety of team and individual races and activities.

Pupils will compete for one of the four school houses and we would like them to wear a t-shirt of the corresponding colour for the day.

House Colour

Caradoc – Red

Lawley – Green

Mynd – Yellow

Ragleth – Blue

Pupils have been told of their individual houses, and colours and house lists have been placed on the relevant Seesaw / tapestry pages.

Pupils can wear their PE kit with coloured shirt to school for the day. They may wish to pack a spare t-shirt in case they get too hot and sweaty in the morning!

Pupils will also require a drinks bottle, hat and sunscreen.

Own Clothes Day tomorrow

To help support our upcoming Summer Fete, we will be holding an Own Clothes Day tomorrow on Friday 26th June.

Instead of the usual monetary donation, we kindly ask children to bring along one of the following items:

  • A Jolly Jam Jar for our popular jam jar stall (filled with small trinkets, sweets etc)
  • A bottle for the Barrow of Booze
  • A prize donation for the winners of the Home Section Competition

We would be very grateful for any contributions, which will help make our Summer Fete a fantastic event for everyone.
