If your child is attending the football tournament tomorrow at Church Stretton School, we are now departing school at 1.00pm so your child can have a school dinner if they wish.

Your child will need to be collected from Church Stretton School at around 3.00pm.

Today I have added the bus ticket cost and consent form for Young Voices to ParentPay. The deadline for payment and consent is 30th September.

Audience Tickets and t-shirts have been ordered for anyone who placed an order before the summer holidays. We are still awaiting delivery of these.

All audience ticket and t-shirt requests I have had this term will be processed together at the end of this month (as Young Voices charge a huge delivery fee!) If you need audience tickets or t-shirts, please contact the office as soon as possible.  We will not be placing any more orders after the end of this month.

If you do not wish your child to attend Young Voices they will be educated at school as normal.

The spectator tickets and children’s t-shirts for Young Voices have been ordered today. Please make payment for these items on ParentPay as soon as possible. Please make sure the number of tickets you order corresponds with the number you requested.

Please can all children arrive at school for 5.45pm tomorrow for a 6pm start. The children will change into their costumes once at school. The performance will last approximately 45 minutes. Thanks.

We have registered the whole of next year’s Key Stage 2 (current years 2, 3, 4 and 5) for Young Voices 2025 which will be held on 16th January 2025. This is a huge multi school event held in the Resorts World Arena, Birmingham. The children will travel by coach to the event in the morning and return by coach late at night.

Although this is a way away, we need to order audience tickets and T-shirts as soon as possible as they often sell out and we have been disappointed in the past.

Tonight your child will bring home ticket and T-shirt order forms. Please complete and return the forms by Wednesday 17th July so we can order these before the school holidays. We will bill you on ParentPay once we receive your order.

Just a reminder that Merlins class are heading to the Ironworks tomorrow. The site is very exposed and children will be outside all day so please make sure they are dressed in warm school uniform and that they have a raincoat / waterproof jacket.

Please also remember to provide a packed lunch and water bottle for your child.

Just a quick reminder of the details for tomorrow night’s Year 4 camp.

Year 4 will be having their overnight camp in the school grounds on Friday 5^th July through to Saturday 6^th July. In the evening, we will have a meal of pizza, chips, salad and fruit. In the morning, we will provide cereal or toast for breakfast.  Your child can bring a small snack for the evening if they wish.

The children will need to be collected at 10:00am on Saturday morning from the office.

We are asking for a voluntary contribution of £3.00 to help cover the cost of the evening meal and breakfast.

If your child has any concerns/issues about bedtime that you think we should be aware of (i.e. bedwetting, night terrors etc.) please could you let us know.

Class 3 are heading to the Ironworks on Friday 12th July. We would really appreciate a few parent volunteers for the trip. It departs from school at 9.10am and returns in time for the usual end of day. Please let the office know if you are able to help on this visit.
