We are excited for Young Voices on Thursday!

Here are a few reminders of the details:

• We will be transporting the children to and from Birmingham via coach. The coach will leave Longnor at 10:45am and will return at approx. 10:30pm.
• **Children will need to bring enough food with them for both lunch and dinner – no nuts, fizzy drinks or glass bottles please**. Please can all children bring their food in a rucksack. We ask that children do not bring any additional items other than this.
• Remember to wear a plain white t-shirt or Young Voices top on Tuesday under a school jumper / cardigan, along with school trousers or skirt.
• Digital tickets for parents who ordered them have been sent to your email address via the AXS app. Please make sure you download the app and accept the tickets as soon as possible in case there are any issues. If you have not received this email, contact the school office.
• We will have a Longnor banner to help audience members spot us in the arena – we recommend bringing binoculars!

If the coach is delayed, we will use Seesaw to communicate. Please have notifications enabled.

Class 4 will be taking part in an online science workshop this week. The company running the event would like to have photos of the children taking part in the workshop to use for marketing purposes. We will be sending home a photo consent form with your child. Please complete and return to school by Wednesday 15th January. Thank you.

We have a parent with two spare audience tickets for Young Voices next week. If anyone needs any tickets please contact the school office.

As it is now less than four months until Eagles’ trip to Arthog, we thought we would send a friendly reminder to check parents are up to date with their payment plans. Please speak to the office if you have any queries.

If your child is attending the football tournament tomorrow at Church Stretton School, we are now departing school at 1.00pm so your child can have a school dinner if they wish.

Your child will need to be collected from Church Stretton School at around 3.00pm.

Today I have added the bus ticket cost and consent form for Young Voices to ParentPay. The deadline for payment and consent is 30th September.

Audience Tickets and t-shirts have been ordered for anyone who placed an order before the summer holidays. We are still awaiting delivery of these.

All audience ticket and t-shirt requests I have had this term will be processed together at the end of this month (as Young Voices charge a huge delivery fee!) If you need audience tickets or t-shirts, please contact the office as soon as possible.  We will not be placing any more orders after the end of this month.

If you do not wish your child to attend Young Voices they will be educated at school as normal.

The spectator tickets and children’s t-shirts for Young Voices have been ordered today. Please make payment for these items on ParentPay as soon as possible. Please make sure the number of tickets you order corresponds with the number you requested.

We are planning a Year 6 leavers party during school time on Thursday 18th July. The children have planned the party and have requested water play and would like to construct a water slide themselves and use fairy liquid to make it slippery. Children will need an old set of clothes they can get wet in and a towel. If you are happy for your child to take part in the water play/slide please can you give consent via ParentPay. Thank you.
