Throughout Advent, Class 2 have been giving rather than receiving.
They have created a Random Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar and they’ve filled it in each day after discussing the kind gestures or acts that they’d carried out or witnessed somebody else doing. We have had so many fantastic examples and the key message that we’ve found is that kindness can cost absolutely nothing.
Evie Outram chose to have her hair cut and donated it to The Little Princess Trust and Ottilie Hurrell delivered a Christmassy picture to her neighbour and plans to share homemade cookies with her street. The children made bird feeders and they’ve also come up with many ways of being kind to our planet. We all took part in The Poetry Post where we wrote and delivered poems to the residents of Longnor.
Keep up the kindness Class 2!
