We are delighted to share with you that Mrs Lewis is expecting a baby. She is feeling a little tired but is excited and healthy. I’m sure you’ll join us in congratulating her.
For Eagles, she plans to stay in school to teach and support you as long as possible as she knows how important year six is. She aims to keep working until the end of February. We are already looking at a plan for covering her maternity leave. As soon as this is finalised, then we will share details; however, Mrs Edgerton will teach year six for their core subjects (English and mathematics) from March onwards to ensure that they are fully prepared to transfer to secondary school.
