Good evening,
A huge congratulations to everyone who ran/walked/helped with the Lawley Leap. What a brilliant day welcoming many new faces to Longnor through the hike! Sunday took a huge amount of preparation and organisation, so a heart-filled thank you to everyone that volunteered, especially to Claire Baxter and Jess Waller who spent many hours preparing the fete and leap.
Please save the date for the Lawley Leap 2027: Sunday 4th July. If you are able to volunteer to help, especially on the day, we would really appreciate it. We value your feedback, but need more volunteers in order to action points to make next year’s even better!
We had a lovely move up morning on Tuesday. We prepared some lovely activities in our new classes and enjoyed getting to know our new teachers.
Well done to Eagle class for a fabulous play. They all worked incredibly hard to make the audience laugh and certainly achieved this! It was hilarious! Everyone had a part to play and it was definitely a team effort. Thank you to everyone who came to watch – we loved hearing your comments and enjoyed making you laugh.
This week, for achievers, we would like to celebrate every Longnor student that completed the Lawley Leap. We are especially impressed by those from Little Owls and Tawny Owls that completed the leap:
- Short route: Zac, Iris, Evie H, Isla, Hattie, Khalil, Yahya, Henri, Henry, Florence, Charlie, Freddie, Jens, Hunter, Owen, Dom, Boyd, Jack, Frankie D, Oliver, Rebecca, Evie BW, Ellis, Matea, Joel, Matilda, Esther, Hettie, Amelia, Rupert, Alice B, Molly, Darcy, Alfred, Alice H, Sean, Etienne, Frankie S

We hope you have a lovely weekend and manage to stay cool in this heat wave.
