Good evening,
We have had a brilliant week in school! The sun has been shining and the classrooms have been filled with art, drama and music! It was fantastic watching the hilarious Eagle class production of Rock Bottom last night! I was really impressed by the confidence that they showed on the stage and there were even some brave enough to sing solos. Congratulations to all of the Eagle class team.
We are excited to share that we have appointed Mrs Alex Phillips to be the class teacher of Kestrels next year. She is an experienced teacher, having taught all ages from primary to secondary school. She has worked in a number of schools locally. We’re looking forward to working with her over the next year as she covers Ms. Mullock. Kestrel class will have the following provision next year:
- Monday – Thursday morning = Mrs Phillips
- Thursday afternoon and Friday = Mrs Edgerton
- PE and RE will be on a Wednesday afternoon covered by Mrs Cooper and Mrs Edgerton
Therefore, next week, we will be saying thank you to Miss Arthur for all her hard work teaching Kestrel class. She has worked hard to plan exciting learning opportunities for Kestrel class. We wish her the best of luck with her continued teaching.
Congratulations to all of our achievers this week:
- Morven, Oliver and Charlie from Little Owls for their great listening skills.
- Miles for showing kindness towards one of his peers.
- George from Kestrels for being a kind friend.
- Ellie for becoming more independent when learning.
- Lucy for using her initiative and helping everyone.
- Neve and Matilda for performing with enthusiasm.
- Eagles for an amazing performance of Rock Bottom.
We are all looking forward to a fantastic camp tonight with years two and four. Please check Seesaw for photos later this evening.
All the best.
Mrs L. Edgerton
