We have had another really busy week in school with everyone really focused upon their learning and making excellent progress.
Clubs have relaunched meaning there are plenty of opportunities to get involved with a range of activities. School leaders are doing a fabulous job organising and delivering clubs at lunch times.
In assemblies this week, we have been thinking about the value of forgiveness. We shared a story about Zach who was seeking forgiveness from his friends. We talked about the difference between saying you’re sorry and showing that you are sorry. Some suggested ways that they could show that they are sorry by playing and involving others in games.
We now have a ‘composer of the month’ that we listen to in assembly. This month our composer is Beethoven. We are trying to remember facts about him – for example when he lived and which musical era he’s from.
And, finally, I’d like to say a huge thank you for all the donations that have been filling the boxes outside of school each day. It is incredible how generous everyone has been.
I wish you all a safe and healthy weekend.
Mrs L. Edgerton
