We have had another busy week in Longnor CE Primary this week. Every class is settled into their learning for the term and are working hard towards their learning goals.
Thank you to all that supported the poppy appeal fund. Year five and six were really responsible in organising this. We have recognised the amount of plastic that a poppy and the merchandise used – some children in year five are writing a letter to the British Legion highlighting this. Next year, we will consider making our own and asking for donations instead.
Many thanks to Longnor and Leebotwood Parish Council who have purchased 15 glockenspiels for our school. We are really excited to have these and begin using them in our music lessons. We hope to share some of our music at the Frost Fair in December.
For now, I’d like to wish you a safe and enjoyable weekend.
All the best.
Mrs L. Edgerton
