Good evening,
We’ve had a busy start to the spring term: children of all ages are getting involved in a range of activities, learning is in full flow and everyone is working hard across the school. Well done Longnor School!
Ray Hughes, who is an ‘Active Travel and Road Safety Officer’, has launched a project with the school council and SOUL team looking at safety whilst travelling to and from school. The teams have begun their research and are about to embark on the challenge to raise awareness of road safety around Longnor School. We look forward to seeing their project come to life.
Our sports leaders have been busy this Friday at Church Stretton School as they began their ‘Sports Ambassador’ training. They are going to be leading clubs and competitions for the rest of Longnor School and are looking at how to manage and lead a tournament. We are excited to have them leading activities for the whole of Longnor School.
With lots of exciting learning opportunities inside and out of the classroom, we are all looking forward to the term ahead.
Take care everyone and have a lovely weekend.
