Good evening,
What an amazing week we’ve had at Longnor Primary School!
Eagle class look like they have had a wonderful time in Arthog, completing fantastic adventurous activities and making memories for life. We are all incredibly thankful to the adults that have given their whole week to take them.
The rest of the school have also had an incredible week exploring science and having fun through a range of practical investigations. From rockets to volcanoes and slime to ice, we have had it all in school. We also had a treat from Concord College when they visited us on Wednesday to do a whole school assembly showing sound waves through the use of flames! We have all had some ‘wow’ moments this week!
In assemblies, we have introduced the next ‘be’ skill that we are working towards: ‘be responsible’. We have thought about how we can use resources and have a positive can do attitude when we are tackling tricky work. We hope you have seen stickers already as there have been plenty of opportunities to ‘be responsible’ when completing science investigations.

We are also delighted to announce that Mrs Sidoli has been appointed as our new cook in charge. She plans to work with school council and ask the community for their opinions in designing a new and improved menu. She takes over from Telford and Wrekin catering on the 1st of April.
After this fantastic week, I hope that you have a lovely weekend.
All the best.
Mrs L. Edgerton
