We have had another busy week in school learning and enjoying the extra-curricular activities that are being led by children across the school. It is fabulous to see everyone working as a team and respecting each other doing a range of different clubs.
In assembly this week, we had a think about rules and why they are important. Playing a game of snakes of ladders without rules wasn’t enjoyable! We realised quickly that rules are there to be fair and ensure that everyone enjoys the activity.
After eight years of working in Longnor school, making everyone feel welcome and helping everyone in anyway that she can, we say a farewell to Mrs Childs today. Classes created poems, cards, memories and took part in a lovely leaving assembly today. Mrs Childs will be missed, but we wish her the very best.
We hope you have a lovely and safe weekend.
All the best.
Mrs L. Edgerton
