Good evening,
We’ve had a fantastic week in school!
Earlier today, Little and Tawny Owls shared their work with the whole school in their class assembly. We were all amazed by their confidence in speaking in front of a hall full of people! They have completed some fantastic work and shared songs, writing and maths activities that they’ve been doing. It was lovely seeing their photos on the screen too. Thank you to those families who managed to join us and share in their achievements this afternoon.
On Wednesday, school had a very special assembly in which Mrs Lewis shared how proud she was to be heading to the World Triathlon Championships in Malaga this weekend. She is representing Great Britain in the aquabike (swim and bike) for her age group team. She has set school a challenge linked to her competition for over half term: to complete some mini-activities in a passport linked to art, music and sport. Like the reading raffle, if children complete three activities they get a ticket, four activities will mean two tickets and all five will mean three tickets. Mrs Lewis is looking for some prizes to bring back from the championships. We all wish her the best of luck! Click here for her Shropshire Star interview.

Thank you for your support on Wednesday afternoon when the roads were becoming waterlogged due to the weather. We really appreciate those who were able to pick up earlier than planned, especially those who stay in night owls, as this meant that staff could begin their journey home earlier.
We all hope that you have a lovely weekend.
All the best.
Mrs L. Edgerton
