Good evening,
It has been another really busy week in school, with all year groups working hard and making fabulous progress. I feel very privileged at the moment to be teaching Eagles and especially proud of the writing that they are creating based on the famous Shakespeare play of Macbeth. This week we have scrutinized the evidence from a crime scene and trialled the main characters in Longnor’s court of law! It has been great fun – here are some examples of work that our year sixes have created:
We would like to celebrate the following achievers this week:
- Little owls and tawny owls – Albie for showing great confidence in sharing news. Evie for her careful owl art.
- Kestrels – Frankie and Owen for being fantastic responsible role models on the school trip. Althea for being a kind and caring friend.
- Merlins – Esther, Sean, Betsy and Charlie D for great focus and independent work on their information text.
- Eagles – Bran, Rose, Richard and Darcy for incredible progress in their writing this week.
Well done to our handwriting heroes: Evangeline, Arthur. Congratulations to our reading raffle winners this week: Ralph, Dom, Rebecca, Florence, Hettie and Alice.
Have a lovely weekend.
