Good evening,
I hope that this finds you all well. We have had a really busy week in school with all classes completing projects and preparing for the summer fete. Thank you to all volunteers who have been into school to organise raffles, prizes and the show on Sunday.
On Wednesday afternoon, a team from year six visited Concord College to join in with a maths challenge. They had puzzles, challenges and tricky calculations to complete. They all worked hard and enjoyed the experience. Well done to the maths team!
Longnor has been filled with creativity this week! Classes have been singing and preparing their musical performances together as class teams. They are all looking forward to performing for you in the summer fete and in their class performances.
Class two have been part of the Bookfest award and have been reading the five picture books. There has been excitement as the day to vote has approached. A huge display of work has appeared in the library with some lovely pieces of art. Which book will win? We will have to watch this space!
I hope to see you on Sunday. Have a lovely weekend.
