Good evening and Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! (Happy St David’s Day!)
School has been filled with singing and lots of extra-curricular activities this week. We’ve seen a lot of dedication to running at breaktimes in preparation for the Shrewsbury Half Marathon – this is fantastic to see. Well done, also, to the school netball team who came fourth in their tournament – it was a chilly morning and everyone played with great determination.
This week, in assembly, we have been thinking about our learning behaviours and have introduced the skill of ‘be responsible’. We’ve been thinking about how we can use resources to remain independent and stay focused upon our targets through challenging ourselves. You may see children starting to have stickers for our responsible octopus which is the responsible logo.
