Good evening,
We’ve had another busy week in school! As part of our assemblies and whole school approach to learning, we have been thinking about what makes an outstanding learner. We are building up skills each week that we are focusing on to ensure that we are ready to learn and do our best. In Little Owls and Kestrels, they have been introduced to:
- Creative Chameleon – do you have your own ideas and think about other possibilities?
- Reflecting Rhino – check your progress. How well are you doing?
- Slinky Linky Snake – can we make links with our learning across subjects?
These are then built upon in Key Stage Two where we are collecting jigsaw pieces to build the outstanding learner. This week we thought about:
- Retrieving and revising facts and information
- Making links between learning and apply reasoning
- Reflect upon your progress in subjects
We are continuing to build up the jigsaw and our independence as we become mature learners.
Have a lovely weekend. All the best.
Mrs L Edgerton
