Good evening,
We’ve had a busy, sun-filled week in school. It has been lovely to have groups going out on trips and representing the school.
Little Owls and Tawny Owls had a fantastic outing to the Downes’ farm. They were lucky enough to see some baby calves that had just been born! Thank you to the Downes family for inviting us.
Well done to our dodgeball and hockey teams this week, who represented our school in local and county festivals. It is wonderful to hear how respectful you are and how you all try your best as a team.
Congratulations to Etienne and Darcy who have been selected to represent Shropshire in the national cross country races. We wish you the very best of luck in your race on Saturday.
Merlin class have had a brilliant day at the Discovery Centre in Craven Arms today. They were weaving, building, using sling shots and hiked up to the iron-aged fort. It sounds like you learnt lots and had great fun!
Thank you for your kind donations for red nose day today – together we have raised £75.20.
A huge congratulations to Mrs Lewis who had a baby girl on Saturday. Baby Lily is doing really well. Mrs Lewis can’t wait to come into school so that everyone can meet her.

Well done to our achievers this week:
- Little Owls and Tawny Owls – Phillip for his lovely manners and Kit for being very sensible on their trip.
- Kestrels – Flo for a positive mindset and Ellis for his excellent knowledge in RE.
- Merlins – everyone for their hard work in assessment week.
- Eagles – Wren for her mature approach to learning and Rose for her excellent oracy sentence stems.
Our handwriting heroes are Tobin, Dom, Barnaby and Oscar – well done! Congratulations to our reading raffle winners:
We all hope that you have a lovely weekend.
Mrs L. Edgerton
