Good evening,
What a busy week we’ve had!
Merlin and Kestrels had a brilliant day at Chester Zoo. Thank you to all adults that made this possible. Well done to all children as they were all ambassadors for our school throughout a very tiring day: they asked fantastic questions and found out lots about the animals.
Little Owls and Tawny Owls had a lovely day at the Small Breeds Park Farm. They saw lots of owls there and know a lot more about owls than me!
In assembly this week, we’ve continued to think about our value of Service. We thought about offering help with ‘no strings attached’ and what that means.
Our new achievement assembly started this week. We’d like to celebrate these individuals this week:
- Leo for amazing writing.
- Joel for trying hard in art.
- Millie for joining in with enthusiasm during her music tracing session.
- Katy for fabulous maths.
- Skye for encouraging her friends who were nervous when swimming.
- Evie for a huge improvement in her swimming.
- Sia for moving up a group in swimming.
- Esther for her incredible writing.
- Jack for his excellent attitude to learning using independent strategies.
- Hannah and Nancy for being fantastic ambassadors in sport and friendship.
- Sean for always being polite and thankful to Mrs Sidoli.
- Conrad for his excellent leadership in assembly.
- Oliver for always being polite and a tidy up star in Night Owls.
- Mrs Buckland for being a brilliant swimming teacher and leading the ‘best lesson of my life’ according to a year three!
Congratulations to all!
Have a lovely half term. We look forward to seeing you on Monday 2nd June.
Mrs L. Edgerton
