What a busy week we’ve had at Longnor! We’ve certainly made the most of the outdoors this week with stories under the trees, forest school at Beedles’ wood , athletics competitions and sports activities at school.
A team from years five and six represented the school at the athletics meet in Church Stretton. It was a glorious, sunny day which made conditions challenging for running, especially the long distance race. Everyone worked really hard as a team and tried their best. They were awarded the school games value certificate of respect – such an important value in sport and at Longnor.
We are all looking forward to the Summer Fete. If you can spare some time on the day, your help would be greatly appreciated. It would be lovely if we could have some performers from the different classes:
- 1:30pm – dance club
- 1:45pm – class 2 singers
- 2:00pm – class 1 singers
- 2:15pm – class 3 singers / performers
Many thanks to all. Have a lovely weekend.
