We have had a busy month in Longnor CE Primary School. Taking into consideration our Christian values, I’d like to share some of our achievements over the month:
- Year five and six have had a wonderful trip to PGL this term. They had a brilliant experience as a team, developing communication skills, independence and trust in each other. Being away from home for a couple of nights is a fabulous experience. We must thank our class teachers for supporting Eagle class during this trip.
- Our value of joy was certainly shared through the Merlin class comedy play that they performed for the coronation. All students learnt their lines and stood with confidence on the stage to perform. The audience were almost falling off their chairs laughing at the brilliant jokes and puns!
- Kestrel class have been developing their independence as they’ve been researching information about an animal of their choice. They have demonstrated excellent care for our world and the animals that live here – showing our value of hope.
- Our youngest students have been finding out about different people that work in the services – people that help us. They have been finding out about how these professionals care and help each other. As they were playing and exploring different people that help us, they were able to show compassion for each other and love for all.
Together we have certainly been inspiring a lifelong love of learning!
Please remember that it is a PD day tomorrow. We look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 5th June.
Have a lovely half term everyone.
Take care.
