Thank you for all your kind donations for the Lawley Leap – these have really made a difference.
What a hot week we’ve had in Longnor! Although it’s been hot, we’ve made the most of our air conditioned rooms and have enjoyed the shade outside with plenty of outdoor learning. Years two and four are looking forward to their camps tonight and we will, of course, make the most of our lovely, cool hall. We hope that they enjoy their camp with their friends.
We would like to celebrate the following achievers:
- Little Owls and Tawny Owls – Charlie for fabulous boat making, Evie for neat colouring and Harriet for being confident and settling in well.
- Kestrels – Hunter for super listening this week and George for being kind when friends are sad.
- Merlins – Florence and Emily for being fabulous helpers in the hall every day.
- Eagles – Year 5 for working hard at their assessments and making great progress. Finn, Oscar, Owen, Sammy and Elliott for creating amazing pieces of writing this week.
Our handwriting heroes this week are Tobin and Jacob. Well done to our reading raffle winners this week: Boyd, Althea, Alfred, Ozzy, Darcy and Isaac.
