Good evening,
Within school, over the term, we have focused upon the value of compassion.
In assemblies, we have thought about what compassion means to us. We thought about how we feel if compassion has been shown and how we might feel if we give support to others. We looked at the stories of Moses in the basket and the Good Samaritan. In both stories, we looked at how it took courage to give compassion and how we could learn from this. We hope you can continue these discussions at home.

Thank you to everyone that came to the wreath making evening last night. We’d especially like to thank Mrs Downes for taking the time to organise the evening.

For achievers this week, we’d like to celebrate with:
- Little Owls: Zach for incredible manners and Miles for being fantastic at looking after the classroom.
- Kestrels: Charlie for being really kind and helping her partner in English and Frankie for excellent diary writing.
- Merlins: Ben and Oscar for a positive can do attitude towards assessments this week.
- Eagles: Sammy for excellent perseverance during assessments and Darcy for always being ready to learn and setting a great example to others.
Our handwriting heroes are Ralph, Jacob, Alfred and Mabel.
As we begin Advent next week, we really look forward to preparing for end of term celebrations with you. Please take note of the diary dates as the term begins to get busy. Thank you to everyone who is able to help with Christmas events over the next few weeks.
Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs L. Edgerton
