Good evening,
I hope that you all had a lovely Easter holiday.
This week, school has had an incredible atmosphere. Everyone has returned to school really focused and ready to do their best.
Class one had a brilliant tea party on Tuesday afternoon. They welcomed their visitors into the school hall – which had been decorated for the party, took orders and carried cups of tea carefully. Their visitors brought some toys from their youth and shared stories. It was a wonderful atmosphere, so thank you so much to Mrs Hughes and the Little Owls team for all your hard work.
Class two have been developing independence when using their computers. Congratulations to everyone for logging in on your own and managing to use Numbots and TTRS independently. This is a huge achievement and great for their number skills too! Thank you to the class two team.
Class three have been on an adventure this week – beginning their journeys through an imaginary door. They have been to a range of different worlds! It sounds like an amazing adventure and I can’t wait to see your writing. Thank you to the class three team.
Class four have been on a trip to Theatre Severn this week as they took part in the Shropshire Bookfest final award ceremony. It was incredibly exciting as the authors were there to share and inspire future illustrators and writers. Congratulations to Erin for winning the art competition and Josh for winning the letter writing competition. Thank you to the team in Class four for all your preparation and hard work in this project.
So much has happened in the space of just one week! We wish you have a lovely bank holiday weekend and we’ll see you on Tuesday for yet another jam-packed week of learning.
Take care.
