It has been another busy week at Longnor. With clubs up and running, leaders organising meetings and trips galore, we’re thankful for these memorable learning opportunities.
Class four had an experience of a lifetime – they headed to Liverpool Maritime Museum to explore the exhibitions and take part in workshops. I’ve heard that the Titanic exhibition was incredible and years five and six absorbed many facts. Thank you to class four for showing your respect on this trip and being an asset to our school.
In assemblies, this week, we have been thinking about the Christian value of ‘Respect’. Through discussions, games and reflection, we have thought about members of our community that we respect and how we can show this. The whole school has agreed to boost respect further by making sure that we say ‘thank you’ where we can.
Our School Council has been busy this week. On Thursday, they completed a learning walk and reported about how confident and focused everyone was in every class. They were impressed by the respect seen in every class. Thank you to all classes from the School Council.
I hope you all have a lovely and safe weekend.
Take care.
