If your child is absent from school for any reason please let us know as soon as possible, preferably before 8.30 a.m.
We are sure you realise absence should be kept to a minimum. Headteachers may now only grant leave of absence, during term-time in ‘Exceptional Circumstances’. If leave is granted, Headteachers are to determine the number of days. If parents are applying for Leave of Absence, we suggest they carefully include reasons why the absence is ‘Exceptional’.
