Children from Class 2 recently entered a poetry competition and have today, received some very exciting news.
Nancy Jones has been awarded Highly Commended in the KS1 category in the Royal Forestry Society poetry competition. Her poem will be published on their website and on their Facebook page as “Nancy from Shrewsbury” to protect her identity.
Nancy has won a signed copy of Michael Morpurgo’s poetry anthology “Where my wellies take me” for herself and an unsigned one for our school.
