Friday 12th July
Good evening,
What a busy week we’ve had in school!
Congratulations to Eagle class on a fabulous performance. You’ve worked incredibly hard at learning lines, finding costumes and singing the songs, so really well done! There were so many jokes presented with lots of drama – your audience thought it was incredible! Thank you to your teaching staff for giving time and energy to support you. Well done to all involved!
This week you will have received your child’s report. We are really proud of every child this year as they’ve all made great progress. Please pop in to see teachers or arrange a formal appointment if there are any points you would like to discuss.
I hope to see many of you at the Summer Fete on Sunday afternoon. We have some classes performing:
1:30pm – KS1 Maypole dancing
2pm – Merlin class music performances
2:20pm – Kestrel music performances
2:40pm – Eagle class music performances
3pm – KS2 Maypole dancing
It would be lovely to see you there.

Summer Fete
We look forward to everyone joining us this Sunday for our annual summer fete (1pm-4pm). Please bring lots of spare change to enjoy the variety of stalls we have on offer, there will also be a BBQ stall and refreshments available so bring a picnic blanket to enjoy the afternoon with us.
Parking can be found either at the church car park or in the field directly opposite the turning for the church/village hall, it will be sign posted clearly. Please do park considerately for our local residents and not in the school staff car park as we are expecting an appearance by the Church Stretton Fire Department.
It is School Circle’s obligation to remind all parents/carer’s that all children attending remain under your responsibility and care at all times, and we cannot allow any dogs on site under any circumstances.
Please can all home section entries be in the school by 1.15pm for judging please.
Looking forward to seeing you all Sunday!
Young Voices Tickets 2025 – for Merlins and Eagles 2024-2025
We have registered the whole of next year’s Key Stage 2 (current years 2, 3, 4 and 5) for Young Voices 2025 which will be held on 16th January 2025. This is a huge multi school event held in the Resorts World Arena, Birmingham. The children will travel by coach to the event in the morning and return by coach late at night.
Although this is a way away, we need to order audience tickets and T-shirts as soon as possible as they often sell out and we have been disappointed in the past.
Tonight your child will bring home ticket and T-shirt order forms. Please complete and return the forms by Wednesday 17th July so we can order these before the school holidays. We will bill you on ParentPay once we receive your order.
All the rest of the information will follow next term.

ParentPay Debt
All childcare vouchers including government tax free childcare payments have now been processed and balances are accurate as of the 9th July. As we approach the end of the academic year, we ask that you bring your balances up to date please. Thank you.
School Dinners
You may have noticed 7p getting added to your child’s school dinner charges on ParentPay each day for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. This is an error and will be sorted and cleared before the end of term. Thank you
