Friday 3rd July 2026

Good afternoon,

School is busy in preparation for the Lawley Leap and Summer Fete tonight. I’d like to thank everyone that has volunteered to help. It is incredible the time, energy and effort that everyone has given to this fantastic event. We hope you can join us either by completing the leap or by visiting our fete. We’ll see you there!

We’ve have really busy week with sports day and Spanish day. It has been lovely spending time in our houses learning lots and achieving together.

This week we’d like to celebrate the following achievers:

  • Tawny Owls and Little Owls: Jake for settling in well and Morven for showing kindness to a friend.
  • Kestrels – Skye for amazing effort and concentration, Arthur for resilience and determination in assessment and Freddie for good listening and being a supportive team member.
  • Merlins – Betsy for being incredibly helpful; Oscar and Sia for their progress and positivity in swimming.
  • Eagles – Wren for being incredibly helpful on sports day.

Our handwriting heroes are Oliver and Nimrit. Well done to our reading raffle winners: Tobin, Freddie, Evie, Rohan, Hettie, Alice H and Jack S.

We hope to see you on Sunday. Have a lovely weekend.

Mrs L. Edgerton
