Friday 13th December 2024

Good evening,

Thank you to all that have been involved in the ‘Lights, Camals, Action!’ Christmas performance. It was wonderful hearing their lovely singing and seeing them perform in their fabulous costumes. I definitely feel festive now!

Congratulations to the year 3 and 4 dodgeball teams who visited Church Stretton on Tuesday for a competition. They all played really well and showed excellent respect. They have qualified to represent South Shropshire in the Shropshire Games Event which will be in Telford in February. Well done to the winning team.

I hope to see many of you at the Frost Fayre on Sunday. If your child would like to perform with their class or in the singing group, then please head to the stage at the following times:

  • 2:15pm – Little Owls and Kestrels performing their Christmas songs
  • 2:30pm – Merlin class performing in their class band
  • 2:45pm – Drama club performance
  • 3:00pm – Dance club performance
  • 3:15pm – Eagle class performance
  • 3:30pm – Children from composing club performing
  • 3:40pm – Whole school Christmas singing

If you would like to join us for our Carol Service on Friday afternoon, we will be heading to St. Mary’s for 2pm on Friday.

Have a lovely weekend.

Frost Fayre – This Sunday!

This Sunday at school!

Come and visit Santa in his grotto; enjoy games; refreshments; and do some Christmas shopping at a variety of stalls.

Please remember to bring plenty of change along with you! See you there.

Frost Fayre Set Up – Helpers Needed Please!

We have lots of lovely stalls planned for the Frost Fayre.

If you are able to pop along to help with the setting up of the event, please join us on Sunday at 12 noon.

Frost Fayre Parking

We look forward to seeing you at the school Frost Fayre. Parking can be found either at the church car park or on the street surrounding the school. Please do park considerately for our local residents and not in the school staff car park as that will be a designated disabled spot.

It is School Circle’s obligation to remind all parents/carers that children attending remain under your responsibility and care at all times, and we cannot allow any dogs on site under any circumstances. Many thanks for your support.

Christmas Jumper Day

On Wednesday 18th December children are welcome to attend school in a Christmas jumper for our Christmas dinner day.

PJs and Popcorn Night Thanks

Thank you to all who supported this event. The children looked very cosy and relaxed in their PJs and comfy clothes as they enjoyed some festive fun and food!  Thank you also to the following volunteers for helping to ensure that the evening ran smoothly: Alison Jordan, Alexandra Sidoli, Sue Bryant, Tina Aljan, Alexis Brookfield, Mrs Edgerton and Mr Helliker.

Tractor Run

Medication

From January, we will no longer be able to offer your child Calpol or Piriton in school without a completed ‘Parental agreement for school to administer medication’ form.

If your child needs Calpol, Ibuprofen or Piriton during the day, we will require a parent or carer to supply the medication each morning and complete a medical form at Reception.

We will no longer be holding any school stock of these medications.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
