Good evening,
As we break up for half term, I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone in the community. This term we have had to deal with a range of emotions: sharing our tears and sharing happy times. Being part of such a strong community and sharing these emotions has helped us support each other and the children, so thank you to everyone.
We would like to celebrate the following achievers:
- Tawny owls and Little Owls – Iris for her amazing independent writing, Millie for being a great friend and Ralph for being helpful and polite.
- Kestrels – Skye for working really hard in maths and Owen for his wonderful attitude to learning.
- Merlins – Tilly J for her fantastic rhythm and dance and Charlie D for his excellent enthusiasm for dance.
- Eagles – Camilla and Ava for working really hard at their Spanish and Elliott for being very helpful for adults.
Well done to handwriting heroes who are Toby, Annie and Katy. Our reading raffle winners are Ellyann, Boyd, Katy, Henri, Alice, Mabel and Wren.
Have a lovely half term week. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stekic family.

Welcoming new staff
After half term, we would like to welcome Miss Horsfall to teach Kestrels on a Friday. Kestrels will have:
- Mrs Phillips Monday to Thursday
- Miss Horsfall on a Friday
Eagles will have Mrs Lewis for two more weeks in the morning and Mrs Biggs in the afternoon. When Mrs Lewis leaves for maternity leave, Mrs Edgerton will then take over teaching Eagles for the mornings.
We are also welcoming Mrs Matthews and Mrs Patterson as new TAs in Merlins and Little Owls.
We are excited to have these new adults join our team and support learning.
World Book Day
Dress up as your favourite book character for World Book Day on Thursday 5th March and enter our Story in a Jar competition. A winner will be chosen from each class. Get creative and see what you can make 🙂
Easter Disco
Tickets for the Easter disco are available to buy now on ParentPay! KS1 Disco will be from 5.30-7pm and KS2 Silent Disco from 7-8.30pm.
