Friday 13th January
What a busy week this has been! Clubs have started back this week and school has been filled with activities during lessons and breaks. It has been great hearing all the music around school – in Young Voices, band practice and music lessons. If you are interested in music lessons, please speak with the office about recorder lessons and Shropshire Music Service for the range of instruments.
In assembly, we were thinking about New Year’s resolutions and how we need to show perseverance in order to stick with them! Good luck Longnor!
All the best for a lovely weekend.

Young Voices
We had a brilliant time on Tuesday at Young Voices in Birmingham. The choir had over 6000 voices singing the songs and dancing together. It was amazing! We even sang with Heather Small!
If you are interested in purchasing a video of the day, please visit the following website and select that we were in Birmingham on Tuesday: https://www.yv23film.co.uk/
Thank you to the teachers for supporting such a long day.

January Message from School Circle
School Circle has had a fantastic end to the Autumn term of 2022, the events and fundraisers run by our team of wonderful volunteers so far have raised £2100 for the school!
The Frost Fayre was another success raising £800 and an additional £150 for the Little Owls classroom. We also raised £122 from the Family Quiz Night as well as £129 from the Wreath Making Evening. This is a tremendous amount raised given the current economic climate and it is very appreciated.
Thank you very much to everyone who has supported us so far and as we head into the new term, I would like to invite everyone to the next School Circle Meeting on Thursday 19th at 8pm via Teams to start planning the Spring Term fundraisers. We are really keen for new members to join and bring fresh ideas to the table to help continue this so please do join us, all are welcome.
The Teams link is below for access and the agenda will be sent out next week:
