100 Club Renewal Forms

If you kindly had a 100 Club number this year you should by now have received your renewal slip via your child’s book bag.

Please help us complete our end of year admin by returning the forms as soon as possible on receipt.  If you’re leaving the school and no longer wish to renew, please still return the form to confirm so that we can free up your number(s) for other people.

Please remember that 100 Club is open to friends and family of Longnor School too so why not consider asking others if they’d like to get involved. New numbers will be available soon!

Many thanks for your help.

Treasurer Needed – can you help?

School Circle are in need of a Treasurer for next school year to support our fundraising activities.

You don’t need any prior skills or qualifications, you just need to be enthusiastic to help keep records of our fundraising activities; arrange floats for events/activities, and help with general banking admin.

It is an essential role that we need to fill so if you or a family member could help, we’d really appreciate it. We’d be happy to chat to you in more detail.

If you feel you could help, please get in touch with School Circle via the school office or the School Circle Whats App group.

Farewell message from Jo Bullock (governor)

After 7 years and as my second child moves on to Secondary school I have decided to step down as Governor of Longnor School. It has been a real privilege and genuine pleasure to contribute to supporting the school, particularly through many interesting yet challenging times. The governors are an amazingly dedicated team of people who are all incredibly passionate about Longnor,  working in the role of ‘critical friend’ to represent the whole school community’s interests. I have really enjoyed the insight into the behind the scenes running of the school and the opportunity to have an impact. I will really miss being part of this amazingly friendly and supportive team.

Being a governor is a brilliant way to use and develop your skills whilst giving something back. While it is a job to take seriously it certainly is very manageable and extremely rewarding. If you are interested in finding out more about being a Governor I’d be happy to chat to you – please let the school office know!

Year 6 Leavers Lunch
