We’ve had a busy week setting up clubs with leaders planning and preparing a range of activities. Please encourage children to attend as this is a wonderful opportunity for them to complete a range of activities, whilst learning from each other. Thank you to all the leaders that are organising these fantastic clubs:
Thank you to all of the School Circle that joined us for the Longnor Leap meeting. We are excited to plan this new event. This year we will run it on Sunday 6th July. Please put the date in the diary as it will be a great day out for the whole family. Watch this space for further information!

Parents Evening – book your appointment now
Our next Parents’ Evenings are taking place on February 10th and 12th.
We feel that it’s important that all parents/carers should meet with their child’s teacher to discuss progress and to answer any questions that you may have.
Our online Parents Evening booking system makes choosing appointment times with your child’s teacher quick and easy.
Simply visit the class appointment page (below) and select an available appointment time. You will be sent an email confirming your appointment.
(N.B. To ensure that our confirmation email doesn’t get spam filtered out, please add the email address ‘longnorschool@kiskadoo.com’ to your address book)
You are of course welcome to bring your children to the meetings, however night owls will be using the outside space and the study, so please could you be responsible for your children at all times and make sure they stay inside and away from these spaces. Perhaps they could bring a book or accompany you to the meeting. Thank you for your support.

Please save the date for this year’s new and exciting event: a combined walk/ run with elements of the annual Longnor summer fete.
School Dinners price increase
From February 24th, Telford and Wrekin catering will be increasing the price of a school dinner to £2.90.
We are currently looking at alternative options with the view to reducing the price.

Longnor Leap First Aider
We are planning to organise a Longnor Leap event on the 6th July of this year. To do this we will need to have qualified first aiders. We have approached St John’s ambulance, however they charge £25 per medic, per hour. Therefore, we need some support in order to proceed. Either we are looking for trained medics that can support the event, or financial sponsorship to cover this.
