Good evening,
What a glorious, sunny week we’ve had in Longnor! The first week back has brought much excitement as our swimming lessons have begun with Kestrels and some KS2 children. We are really impressed with the confidence in the water and pleased that all demonstrate respect for the water, demonstrating a good level of water safety awareness.
Earlier this year, Eagle class joined in with a STEM learning day which involved designing a glider. We are delighted to announce that Tilly and Megan have been announced as winners of the West Midlands Region for their sustainable aerospace design! We are very proud and hope that you enjoy your prize giving event in July.
Please take time to remember sun hats and sun screen in this warmer weather.

Easter disco thanks
Thank you to everyone for supporting this event. It was lovely to see the children enjoying themselves and sporting some very creative ideas for the crazy hat/hair competition!
In total, the disco raised a very impressive £600.

Dates for the diary – Summer Term
Hats and Sunscreen
As we head into the summer term, could we remind parents to provide a hat for your child and apply sunscreen before school. Children may bring sun-cream to school to reapply themselves during the day but this must not be shared with any other children. Thank you.
