Friday 5th June

Good evening,

It has been lovely hearing the Egyptian musical rehearsals this week! I know that Merlin class have been working really hard as a team and have had fantastic support from people at home to find costumes and learn lines: thank you! I’m looking forward to seeing the play on Wednesday after school.

This week we’d like to celebrate the following achievers:

* Little Owls and Tawny Owls – Millie for welcoming new children to Longnor. Isla for wonderful writing.

* Kestrels – James for making progress in phonics and gaining confidence.

* Merlins – Charlie J and Rupert for excellent positivity and progress in swimming.

* Eagles – Toby for his fantastic writing, Wren for her incredible patience and perseverance and Alice for her mature attitude to learning.

Congratulations to our reading raffle winners: Tobin, Evangeline, Althea, Alfred, Emily and Darcy.

Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs L. Edgerton
