Friday 7th October
What another busy week we’ve had in school. There’s been a lot of fun and enjoyment whilst learning this week:
- There have been aliens pinching underpants in Kestrel Class!
- There have been visits to outer space in Eagle Class!
- Merlin Class have been composing music with string instruments.
- Little Owls have been swimming in their phonics lessons!
It has been another busy week for clubs. The school band is beginning to grow. Today, you will see a letter in book bags for free recorder and ukulele lessons led by myself. These are beginner lessons. We have ten ukuleles that can be borrowed, but recorders will need to be purchased. It would be wonderful to have more children playing musical instruments across the school. I look forward to starting these lessons next Wednesday.
For now, have a lovely weekend. We all look forward to another week of fun and learning next week.
Mrs L. Edgerton

Message from the outgoing Chair of School Circle
It has given me so much pleasure being involved with the School Circle. I have completed four years as the Chair, though unfortunately, due to covid, I think that hampered our fundraising efforts. That said I wouldn’t have changed being the Chair for the world!
Seeing the efforts Tina has made over the past 12 months I feel I’m handing the baton onto someone who can take things forward.
I will continue to support the school and School Circle for the future.
Can I take this opportunity to thank you all personally for your support for me in the role.
Chris Thomas, Outgoing Chair
Bags2School Fundraiser
Thanks to everyone who donated items for our Autumn Bags2School fundraiser. We managed to raise £36 for school funds and save unwanted items from landfill.
Watch out for our Spring collection dates in the New Year.
School Grounds Work Party
Can you spare a few hours to help School Circle and Mrs Edgerton during half term?
We are running a school grounds work party to sort and clear out the sheds and would appreciate your help. Please let Tina or the school office know if you are available or drop a message on the School Circle What’s App chat.
Thank you in advance!
