We have been developing the skills of persuasion by writing formal letters. Earlier in the term, we were discussing the concept of laws. We explored what new laws we would create. Several children made the suggestion that the use of palm oil should be made illegal.The children became passionate about the issues surrounding the palm oil industry and so we have carried out further research. We have written letters to a variety of people to encourage the use of sustainable palm oil. Have a look in Class 4 news to see our wonderful letters.
