Poppies will be on sale in school from Monday.
Longnor Church is once again full of poppies for Remembrance Day, pupils and parents are welcome to go in and have a look. The church is open every day during daylight hours.
There is a Service of Remembrance at 10.30am this Sunday, when the names of all the men commemorated on the War Memorial will be read out. Again, everyone very welcome. The poppies will be in place until the end of the month.
There is a box at the back of church for donations to the Royal British Legion and there’s also a basket of knitted poppies, if anyone would like to buy one to wear (suggested donation £2).
