Our school has been chosen for the Shropshire Bookfest for the second time. Shropshire Bookfest is when we are chosen to read a set of books that they’ve given us:
- Harklights
- The boy who met a whale
- Twitch
- No Country
- The small things
- Skywake
We have to try and read them all if we can. When you’ve finished reading them, you need to write a review on https://www.shropshirebookfest.co.uk
At the end of the project, we have to vote for our favourite book. Shropshire Bookfest is the only book award that is decided by children.
At the moment, I am really enjoying two things – I’m enjoying listening to Ms Mullock reading Twitch as everyone is listening to it at the same time. Second thing i’m waiting for a book – that looks really good – I’m waiting for Harklights!
I’m reading ‘The Small Things’ at the moment. I think it’s a really good book because I like the idea of a robot going to school.
I would recommend getting involved with Bookfest and having a look at the website.
Happy reading!
