We have had a few trees at school affected by Storm Goretti. Most of which I have managed to clear; however, at the front of school one of the trees has a couple of branches that need a tree surgeon to clear as they are quite high. Therefore, I have taped off the area for safety. This affects entrance to the front of school only. To manage this:
- Pick up and drop off through the old Little Owls gate between 8:35am and 8:45am.
- Access to the main front door is via the car park and then following the path to the front door. Please ensure that any children using this route are accompanied by an adult as the footpath is closed at the front and the car park could be busy.
- For early birds and night owls, please access the front door via the car park.
- I have been told that the village hall car park is beginning to thaw, but please be careful using this as it has not been gritted.
Many thanks for your support in this. We hope to have a tree surgeon out tomorrow to help us clear this area.
