Hello everyone, In April and May, I am running 2 marathons to raise money for the amazing work that Hope House children’s hospices do with families in Shropshire, helping them and their children in their greatest moment of need.
Every year since 2010, I have entered the London Marathon ballot and I had grown used to the letter/email telling me that I was one of the hundreds of thousands that did not get allocated a place. However, due to perhaps dumb luck, I got in this year and successfully completed the london marathon a couple of weeks ago, in 3h 59m. Three weeks on, I am running the Leeds Marathon this Sunday to complete my ‘double’.
I really believe in the work that Hope House do and hope you will support me in raising money for this fantastic charity. If you could donate anything, it would be wonderful and spur me on this hilly course. Thanks, Daniel Wilson, (Longnor parent and governor.)
