Further to my message in the newsletter about watching ‘The Walk’, I will only show this film with your permission as there are action scenes. Therefore, I will set up parentpay on Monday to allow you to give consent.
There are a few scenes that I will be fast forwarding in order to maintain integrity as swearing is not acceptable at Longnor primary school. They will not see:
* the friends smoking
* the scene where his full back profile is seen
* the two swear words in the film
I have a DVD which will be in the office to borrow or it is on Amazon Prime. Only with consent from all, will I then plan to show this on the last day of term.
This is a difficult decision as this is a PG film. Your input is valued and, as I said, I will only proceed with all consent so that not one child is left out.
