Children from Class 2 recently entered a poetry competition and have received some more very exciting news.
Tilly Phoenix has been awarded as the runner up in the KS1 category in the Royal Forestry Society poetry competition. Her poem will be published on their website and on their Facebook page as “Matilda from Shrewsbury” to protect her identity.
Tilly has won a signed copy of Michael Morpurgo’s poetry anthology “Where my Wellies Take me” for herself and one that is unsigned for school.
Congratulations Tilly. What a wonderful poem!
