Class 2 have been getting creative with plastic bottles to raise awareness of plastic pollution.
Schools across the UK were invited to enter a design competition to create a sculpture made of waste plastic by asset manager, Robeco and environmental campaigning organisation, City to Sea as part of its Refill Campaign.
Lucy Thomas’ design was chosen as the entry from our school and the judges commented on how much they liked it, so well done Lucy! The team at Robeco requested William Rowley’s entry after Mrs Jones’ description of it. Will’s timer design was actually shortlisted which is a fantastic achievement. Robeco are hoping to use Will’s idea in a future campaign.
