On Thursday the 3rd of March it is ‘World Book Day’. We would like to celebrate reading and books for the day. It would be lovely if children cook come into school dressed as their favourite book character and, if possible, they could bring that book into school.
We’d also like to run a competition for each class:
- Little Owls – can you create a story bag for a book of your choice? In the bag, you might have clues as to who the characters are and what happened in the story.
- For classes 2, 3 and 4 – can you create a story jar? Using a jam or sauce jar, can you create a scene from the story so that we can work out which book you have chosen?
We will have a prize for a winner from each class.
